“Whatever you do, work at it with all your heart, as working for the Lord, not for human masters, since you know that you will receive an inheritance from the Lord as a reward. It is the Lord Christ you are serving. Anyone who does wrong will be repaid for their wrongs, and there is no favoritism.”

Colossians 3:23-25
Do you miss being around people? Do you even like your boss? Have you lost your job?

Throughout my career, I have had good bosses and bad bosses. I have had my own company three times. I worked for good companies and bad companies. Through it all, when I lost sight that my goal was to work as if I were serving Christ, I was not at my best. My goal was to be able to say at the end of the day, I pleased God, not my boss or my company.

I am not suggesting you stay in a bad situation. I am saying that until you can manage your career and decide where, and for whom, you want to work, work as though you reported to Jesus. Forgive your boss if they are a jerk. Leave the judgement to Christ.

You will have less stress if you work as if Jesus is your boss and forgive your company/boss when they trespass against you.
